Todd Pierson has spent close to 30 years behind the camera, and that time shows up in the work and the wrinkles on his face, but he can’t avoid that, even with sunscreen.
Based in Chicago, Pierson Studios handles both video and still photography for commercial clients who need images and footage for marketing.
Food photography is where it started and it's still a core strength, built on a decade-long relationship with Fresh Express and many other corporate clients. That same eye carries over into lifestyle, industrial, portrait, product, and education photography, so whatever the shoot calls for, there's real experience behind it.
On the video side, the studio produces commercial and corporate video work, including behind-the-scenes content that gives brands something more personal to share.
Todd also spent time building out a media department at a food service agency, which helped him understand the sales process better and how creative work was made to best serve the clients.
After so many years of production and creative work, he has a good understanding of client relationships and what keeps jobs running smoothly. Super important when deadlines and budgets can cause so much stress.
